Three main issues in gear motors that are currently on the market

2) The braking distance is too long, causing insufficient closure of windows and inadequate curtain covering, and this damages the whole system.
3) Motor burnout due to phase loss or overload of the power supply, greenhouse gear motors are mostly used in rural areas, so the power system often has phase loss, and if a technician fails to install the phase loss protection device in time, the motor will burn out.

At present, the most common quality problem of a gear motor is damage that occurs to the limit switch control system.
This happens when the self-locking performance of the gear motor fails to be qualified and the braking distance is too long.
Statistical results of advanced gear motors shows that when the braking distance is less than 10mm, the failure rate is greatly reduced.
In addition, outside experts have confirmed that the braking distance of our 3GG® gear motor is less than 10mm (5.2 rpm) and thus the failure rate is reduced to 5‰ from 2%.

3GG® adopts the final stage worm gear self-locking transmission system, which greatly improves the self-locking performance.Even the braking distance of the 5.2 rpm gear motor (usually 2.6 rpm) can reach less than 10mm, which fully meets the requirements of a high-precision windowing system and prolongs the product life.
3GG Gear Motor: overload protection and power phase loss protection function added
Our 3GG® gear motor has added overload protection and power phase loss protection functions to the limit switch control system.
When the three-phase power supply becomes two-phase, it automatically stops.When the load exceeds 1.5 times the rated load, it also automatically stops. After the fault is removed, the motor will run again, thus greatly reducing the number of after-sales services.

In the livestock industry, when the windows of a barn are closed, the indoor temperature rises rapidly due to the power failure, affecting the growth of indoor poultry or even causing a large number of deaths.
